Newmachar Hawkshill course is not any easy course by any stretch of the imagination.The course was designed by Dave Thomas and features his typical wellshaped and prominent bunkers, ready to trap the careless shot.
Apart from the bunkers, the generous use of water on holes 1,9,10,13 and 17 is an added feature contributing to the courses Parkland feel. As the trees begin to mature on ether side of the fairways, the course is starting to get the look and feel of other great courses such as Rosemount at Blairgowrie. The wooded holes are indeed some of the most spectacular and enjoyable.
