The island bbq package is a self catering event.
To start with you will enjoy a short speedboat transfer from Luss to the island where one of our staff will greet you and act as your ‘host’ for the day.
The island that we visit will be Inchcailloch. This island has a beautiful sheltered beach with fantastic views to the Luss hills, Ben Lomond and beyond.

There are toilet facilities on the island but we would provide all BBQ equipment, tables, chairs, gazebo and rubbish bins etc. The visiting group will be responsible for bringing their own food and drinks in a cool box and to cook their own food.

Aside from the beach there are various woodland paths leading to an impressive viewpoint and an old ruined church with ancient burial ground. Some groups prefer to stay at the bbq site where you can eat, drink and be merry but there is plenty of time for the more adventurous visitor to explore the island fully.

This package is suitable for larger groups and our standard itinerary for a group of 28 persons would be as follows:

Return Speedboat Trip    
17:40 - 18:00:     empty boats return to island
18:00 - 18:20:     2 boats return journey max 14 persons
18:20 - 18:40:     empty boats return to island
18:40 - 19:00:     2 boats return journey max 14 persons

For operational reasons we normally recommend a group size of 28 persons or less but larger groups will be accepted up to a MAXIMUM of 42 persons.
