This hotel has something for everyone whether you're looking for a quiet romantic break, a more active sightseeing break with some golf or fishing thrown in or just somewhere to relax and enjoy the view while reading a good book.

It has the Cruchan restaurant which boasts fantastic views over the loch whilst you enjoy food covering a wide range of tastes from traditional Scottish fare to Vegetarian. There is also a full bar menu available in the McKenzie Bar for those wishing a more informal setting. Whiskey is a speciality in the bar where you can sample from over 30 Highland malts.

The hotel also has a conservatory where you can soak up some more of the scenery including views of Ben Cruchan. There is also a library and guest lounge where you can relax or enjoy playing games with the family in front of the fire.

There are many attractions and activities easily accessed from the hotel. You can enjoy fishing on Loch Awe which is free for guests. There are many local golf courses which can be played around the hotel, most of which will take you no longer than half an hour drive to get to. If boating is your thing then they can be hired from the hotel. A full tank of fuel and safety gear is provided.

Other attractions closeby include the Inveraray Jail, Inveraray Castle and the Hydro Electric power station on Ben Cruchan.
