Manderston House

Manderston is the supreme country house of Edwardian Scotland; the swan-song of its era.

Built with no budget specified, everything about the house and decorations is sumptuous and rich. The gardens about the house are also extremely beautiful. Definately worth a detour off the journey if you are in the borders. The house also contains the world's largest collection of Huntley & Palmers biscuit tins, dating back to 1868 for those with an interest in biscuit tins.
