Customer Reviews of Birdsong, Thurso - Sleeps 6

1st comment: The owners made us very welcome, told us about all the local amenities. There is a Tesco close by, but the local shops in Thurso are also very good when self catering. March 2012. 2nd comment: The property was excellent. Well planned and laid out, spacious, and furnishings superior quality to anything I’ve come across on other rentals, the beds were extremely comfortable. Great pride in decorating was evident and hosts were very friendly and welcoming The kitchen even had a salmon poacher! I proudly sent postcards showing friends where we stayed, hoping they too will pay a visit when kayaking. I struggle to see how this place could be improved on it was so tickety-boo and gorgeous. July 2011. 3rd comment: Great cottage and good location for trips from there, but nothing at the Farm itself, and no real walking opportunities from the cottage. Easy drive to town Tesco pubs etc, but have to drive. Cottage itself one of the best we have seen. Owners great. May 2011. 4th comment: We had an excellent holiday at this lovely cottage. It is very clean, comfortable and in a fantastic location perfect for exploring Caithness. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be recommending to family and friends. April 2011. 5th comment: We all enjoyed the comfort of the bedrooms, the spaciousness, the log fire! Everything was provided and easy to find. In a short phrase "we felt very much at home"the owner welcomed us and came to see us off which was nice. Oct 2010.
