Customer Reviews of Heath Cottage, Boat of Garten - Sleeps 6
"Heath Cottage is wonderfully situated to explore the many delights of the Cairngorms. The accomodation is spotlessly clean and provides everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The 'resident' red squirrel was a daily delight." Mrs Rollitt - September 2011
"On arrival at Heath cottage,we were delighted to discover that the cottage is much nicer than the pictures on the website reveal!
This cottage is so homely and well thought out, we had everything we needed (and more), and it was very homely and clean.
The village is beautiful, and quiet and an ideal base for a holiday exploring the Highlands, and having a beautiful forest at the end of the garden was amazing!" Clarissa - September 2011
"We stayed in Heath Cottage for a week during June and are definitely intending to stay there again. It has everything that you need for a holiday in Scotland. Boat of Garten is reknowned as an excellent location for outdoor activities, but it was also exccellent for our (almost) 3 year old daughter with lots of adventures and activities in the local area." Mark A - August 2011
"A well-equipped, comfortable cottage in a peaceful location. Great for a family base to tour the area. Would definitely book again." The Walker family - September 2010
"Have now spent two holidays at Heath Cottage, with my husband, sister and elderly mother, and would certainly hope to return for a third holiday next summer. The house is very well equipped and tastefully decorated - this year most of the soft furnishings and bedding had been replaced. It is in a quiet location, but close to the main road for easy access."
Barbara - August 2010
"Heath Cottage is a very well appointed property with loads of space, large garden area, and has proved to be a great place to relax and unwind. Conservatory dining area was great, as was the large picnic table in the garden.
The location of the property is particularly impressive, with a variety of walks starting at the rear gate of the garden, and the village location ideally situated central within an area offering loads to do, and fantastic places to visit. Overall we have found the cottage meets more than our expectations, and has proved to be 'really nice' place to stay" Mr Robert McTear - August 2010
"This was the latest of countless stays at Heath Cottage over the past 12 years. Now going with teenagers and friends with their toddlers.
The cottage was as clean as ever and has been brightened up recently with some fresh decore. The teenagers were delighted to discover Heath Cottage now has wireless internet! Boat of Garten and the surrounding area has something for everyone, plenty to do if you want to be active and beautiful scenery if you just want to take it easy. The toddlers (and dad) loved the steam train, the teenagers thought the new bike hire shop in the village was fabulous. Heath cottage is in a great location for all year round visits but my favourite time to visit is spring or autumn. Vicki - August 2010
