This lovely, spacious holiday home is in a peaceful setting overlooking a wooded den with the Lumbo Burn at its foot. Only a 20 minute walk along the Lade Braes into the heart of historic St Andrews, or up to Craigton Park and the Dukes golf course. Shopping, eating places and the Byre theatre in St Andrews; also of course, the six town golf courses. Shop and pub 1 mile.

1st comment: Set in a quiet location within St Andrews with access to the Laed Braes footpath at rear of property. A well appointed spacious house with all the comforts of home! it was an ideal property to take my Father to, having the manin bathroom and a bedroom downstairs. So ideal this is the second year we have been! would go again! Sept 2011.

2nd comment: We would definitely rebook this bungalow it was much better than expected even though we had high expectations, especially with the brook running at the bottom of the garden. April 2011.

10th comment:  I think the piano should have been mentioned in the accommodation details. The accessibility of the property and it’s position in relation to places of interest for my family was fantastic. The property offers a country experience right in the middle of town life. Superb interaction with wildlife. The house is so spacious my little boy could not resist running in doors. Very generous bedrooms and spacious kitchen. The sound of the stream first thing in the morning was particularly soothing. July 2009.

11th Comment Burnside is ideal for those wanting a nice quiet break. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac with woodland walks out the back gate. The house is very spacious with lots of storage space, a huge library and a beautiful piano (which unfortunately does need a bit of fine tuning!). A wonderful time was had by all and would come back again if returning to that area. April 2009.
