4th comment: We loved the cottage. We sat in the garden as much as we could and watched a lot of lovely birds and a little robin red breast came by each day. Very personal welcome from the owner. We devoured the home made muffins very quickly. we didn’t have the view of the canal as much as we expected but it was safe for the children and we did get to see the lock changes and many boats go by.
