9th comment: The lodge is very well appointed and maintained, with a lot of home comforts. Superb accommodation - comfortable, spacious, excellently maintained and in a lovely setting. We were visited by a handsome stag, a tiny mouse and a pine marten who hung around on the porch until (on the recommendation of the owner and previous guests) we fed him jam sandwiches.
