9th comment: The lodge is very well appointed and maintained, with a lot of home comforts. Superb accommodation - comfortable, spacious, excellently maintained and in a lovely setting. We were visited by a handsome stag, a tiny mouse and a pine marten who hung around on the porch until (on the recommendation of the owner and previous guests) we fed him jam sandwiches. 15th Comment A beautiful property, surrounded by wildlife and breathtaking views. Our children (11 & 9) loved walking out into the lock at low tide and searhhing for crabs, eels and especially the mussels which we harvested, cooked and ate, they tasted much better than any I’ve ever had. Aug 2007.
