This delightful holiday property is situated in a renovated stone mill which has been converted into apartments, and is in a lovely setting on the waterfront with views over the bay. Bottle nosed dolphins, porpoises, minke whales and seals are regular visitors to the harbour. There is a wealth of activities in the area, including golf, fishing, cycling, birdwatching and sailing with whisky and castle trails on the doorstep. Enjoy the sea walks along this spectacular part of the coastline or explore the pretty forest walks in the area. Ideally situated for visiting Aberdeen and Inverness, the Highland capital of the north. Shops and pubs 100 yards.

3rd comment: A lovely, well equipped and cosy apartment - ideal for a short break for two. Lovely views from the property out over the coast line. Well located for visiting the various whisky distilleries in the area and also for visiting Loch Ness. Burghead is a small and quiet coastal village but has two local pubs within a couple of minutes walk. Overall, a lovely place to stay. April 2010.

5th comment: Excellent location and tastefully decorated, exactly what we wanted, could not had a more peaceful break. The owner left fresh milk and tea and cakes for our arrival which is a lovely touch. She was really helpful and assured us if we needed anything just to call her anytime. We will be coming back. July 2009.
