10th comment: The owners’ local knowledge was fantastic - make use of the free rowing boat and also the chance to go on Loch Linnhe to see the seals and other wildlife. Good restaurants nearby are the Ee Usk in Oban and the Holly Tree near Glencoe. Excellent cream tea at Airds in Port Appin. A lovely roomy cottage - the furnishings were a bit ’chintzy’ but suited the cottage. Aug 2009.
