Customer Reviews of Listonshiels Farmhouse, nr Edinburgh - Sleeps 9-10
st comment: Very nice property, very quiet place, wonderful landscapes. Even the most insomniacs of us spent a relaxing holiday and never slept that much in this authentic old farm. unfortunately potholes in the road forced ourselves to one round trip per day at the cottage. Despite all this we will keep an imperishable memory of our stay in this secluded place in SCOTLAND. April 2012.
nd comment: This was the second time we’ve stayed at this lovely farm house and it’s wonderful. Amazing location, loads of wildlife, driving distance to Edinburgh and two log fires. Just lovely. The only neighbours are Andy and Carol who look after it. They’re great, ask to see Andy’s workshop! Oct 2011.
rd comment: Perfect for relaxing. Oct 2011.
th comment: The house is really out in the middle of nowhere but within 20mins of all the local attractions. Great open fire for the winter nights. Really big house to get lost in. Caretakers are excellent. Proper off-roading to get to the house. Recommend a 4x4 for the track to the house. Nov 2010.
th comment: We thought the farmhouse had real character and was perfect for ten people. Nov 2010.
th comment: We loved the kitchen area and spent most of our time in there. The whole place was brilliant and we wanted to stay. Oct 2010.
th comment: The property was exactly what we had hoped. Beautifully situated close to Edinburgh but very much in the country – it was quiet, warm and lovely in every way. Aug 2010.
th comment: Fantastic location off the beaten track but still only 30 minutes from Edinburgh. Lovely spacious property with loads of room indoors and out for the children to play. March 2010.
