In a stunning location on the banks of the 'Water of Milk' river, this traditional detached cottage is adjacent to the owner's home ( a former watermill built in 1755) and is perfect for a relaxing holiday in beautiful countryside. The cottage has been fully modernised whilst retaining traditional features and is homely and comfortable, providing a lovely retreat for a couple or a small family - all rooms are on one level. There are flowering front gardens and to the rear, a small enclosed garden with seating and lovely river views.
The market town of Lockerbie is 2.5 miles away with a good selection of shops, pubs and hotels.
