Superb first floor views
Very tastefully decorated and furnished to a good standard, this spacious semi-detached holiday cottage was built in 1850 and was originally the servants quarters attached to the main house but is now completely self contained.
The lounge is on the first floor to take advantage of the lovely views of the surrounding area. Moffat is just a short walk or drive and boasts a good golf course, tennis courts, sporting amenities and park. Edinburgh, Glasgow and Dumfries make enjoyable day trips and are easily reached by car within an hour’s drive.

15th Comment The cottage was great. You never run out of hot water, which is very important when there are 6 of you. The rooms were ample in size and comfortable. It was very clean and it was a nice touch to have a welcome pack waiting for us.The only downside, is that there was not enough seating in the lounge for us all. There are chairs that you can put in there, but the lounge is not big enough. Aug 2009.
