3rd comment: As a dog friendly cottage Middledrift ticks all the boxes. The enclosed back garden is ideal as a safe retreat for dogs but for walking with or without dogs the location of this lovely cottage is perfect.Out of the front door and in 2 minutes you are on the shore or if the tide is in the footpath is well above the sea and you can walk all the way to Golspie, the next village. The Sutherland Inn is within walking distance and serves lovely home made food. This was a peaceful holiday but with all the amenities you need in close proximity to this charming cottage. We will certainly go again.
