Adjoining the owners’ 19th century home, this spacious, period ground floor holiday apartment is tastefully furnished and enjoys access to the surrounding garden. Situated in a quiet part of the small Victorian town of Helensburgh, local amenities include the esplanade, sailing, tennis and swimming. You can also enjoy woodland rambles, hill walking, cycling or golf, and perhaps a visit to Hill House, designed by Rennie Mackintosh. Loch Lomond only 5 miles. Glasgow, 40 minutes, Edinburgh, 90 minutes, both easily reached by frequent train service. Shops, cafes and pubs, 10 minutes walk.

All on ground floor: Living room with double sofa bed/dining room. Kitchen. 2 bedrooms: 1 double with en-suite bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet, 1 twin with en-suite shower room and toilet.

Gas CH, gas, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Cot. H/chair. Gas hob. Elec oven. Washer/dryer. D/washer. F/freezer. Large enclosed garden and furniture. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.

1st comment: A lovely victorian property, town in easy walking distance. getting into Glasgow very easy especially by rail. Sept 2011.

2nd comment: Handy for Glasgow, Campsie Fells, the Trossachs, Loch Lomond & Loch Catrine. If you dont mind an hour or two’s driving Oban and Edinburgh are within reach but watch the parking fees in Edinburgh, they are outrageous! Aug 2011.

4th comment: The property comprised an annex of the owners property in close proximity to all local amenities, including the station. The kitchen was well-equipped allowing us to cook our evening meal on several occasions. We were also encouraged to use the garden for a game of football or badminton. May 2010.

7th comment: The property is ideally situated near to Loch Lomond and the Trussocks with good travel links to Glasgow and Edinburgh. There are also several Monro’s nearby. July 2009.

9th comment: Well equipped. Conveniently situated to access a wide variety of locations. Ideal location and property for pets (We have 3 dogs), who thoroughly enjoyed exploring the extensive garden area. Aug 2009.
