Cosy log fire for the evenings, when everyone is exhausted after long country walks. Lots of leaflets for ideas of where to go and plenty of books, games and jigsaws if the weather is not too good. The owner was wonderful - met us at the property gave us a guided tour and the dogs - provided water for the dogs and a welcome drink for us. We were made to feel like family not holiday makers.
