Set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty just 3 miles from sandy beaches, this spacious and comfortable detached house is set in an acre of secluded, gently sloping gardens. The area offers sailing, swimming, fishing, golf, tennis, riding, bird-watching, historical sites and many forest and woodland walks. The house is well-positioned for visits to the ‘artistic’ town of Kirkcudbright, the market town of Castle Douglas and the scenic Galloway Forest Park, Isle of Whithorn and Mull of Galloway. Shops and pub ½ mile.

Double bedroom with large en-suite shower room and toilet. Cloakroom with toilet. Open tread staircase to first floor: Double bedroom with additional single bed (for +1). Two twin bedrooms. 1st comment: A peacful location though still close enough to the village to be able to walk to the shops. A good location as a base to visit local attractions . Aug 2010.

2nd comment: Massive, enclosed garden. Fully equipped house - everything you could imagine you might need. Very clean and well kept. Comfy sofas and chairs. Nice area. Saw red squirrels in the garden almost every day - lovely. Lots of information on the surrounding area. May 2010.

5th comment: Large and spacious property, easily accommodated our party of three families (5 adults and 3 children 3, 6, 12), lots of info at the property of things to do. Garden large and enclosed, good for the two dogs. Short walk to village. Lots of walks from the door into the local countryside. Close to several Mountain Bike Trail Centres! Dec 2009.
