Excellent walking from the doorstep and in the beautiful nearby Angus Glens. The estate makes an ideal base for exploring central Scotland, Edinburgh, Perth, St. Andrews and the Highlands. Glamis Castle is a few miles away. Outdoor activities (golf, skiing, riding, cycling) are readily available. Shops 1½-3 miles.

1st comment: Interior surprisingly spacious. Superb views over the fields and beyond. Sofas in the lounge in need of re-upholstering. Log burning stove was toasty. Feb 2012.

5th comment: Osprey Cottage is a wonderful escape from normal life styles it is homely and welcoming and Katy’s welcome tray of fresh Scottish Strawberries, a bottle of wine and the local newspaper is a lovely touch. The cottage has everything anyone could need my only complaint is that at the end of the holiday we had to leave, without a doubt we will be back again and again. July 2010.
