Situated in a peaceful residential location just a few minutes walk from the River Tweed, the cottage is ideally positioned to take advantage of the diverse range of walks direct from the door from gentle meanders along the river, woodland paths or quiet country lanes to longer walks in the surrounding hills and forests. On or off road cycling is popular and there is a world class mountain bike centre only a few miles away at Glentress.
Peebles High Street is a scenic 10 minute stroll away along the River Tweed. A Royal Burgh since 1152, Peebles has been ranked as Top Independent Retailing Town in Scotland and second in the UK for its range of independent shops. It is a popular thriving town with cafes, pubs and restaurants, theatre, swimming pool, art galleries, museums and a lively events calendar including the Beltane Festival, Arts and Music Festivals, Rugby 7s tournaments and agricultural shows. The Tweed valley is a particularly beautiful part of the Borders and there are excellent opportunities for fishing and golf as well as walking, cycling and bike hire. With good road and bus links, this is an excellent base for touring and Edinburgh is approximately 45 minutes drive.

This house is great for couples! it's a quiet road, peebles is a lovely village, great for romantic walks. we enjoyed it so much we'd definitely book it again! everything really clean and the owner was very friendly! we just found that the fridge was a bit too small as we stayed there for two weeks and had done some shopping.

The location and amenities was very good plenty of places to eat and shops for all you need. The cottage is in walking distance of the town and the cottage was very comfortable
