This modern holiday home is an ideal base for exploring this beautiful area with the Crinan Canal on your doorstep. Enjoy walking the tow path to Crinan Harbour. Travel south to Tarbert village, the gateway to the Kintyre Peninsula, famous for its sailing festivals. From here, take a ferry to explore the islands of Gigha and Arran. Busy Oban is a scenic hours drive north. Stop and visit the historic Kilmartin Museum, Seil Island over the famous Atlantic bridge, and enjoy the range of shops and restaurants in Oban, the gateway to the isles. Shop 1 mile, bar/restaurant 800 yards.

1st comment: It was very comfortable and the amenities were first class. The information provided was very good and clear. The cottage was set in a very good location and was very clean and tidy. I could not have asked for more. April 2012.

2nd comment: Perihelion was a quiet and very comfortable well equipped bungalow close to the Crinnan Canal and a convenient spot for ferries to the islands from Tarbet to the south and from Oban (about 1 hr away) to the north. Lovely walks along the canal to the sea locks at Crinnan. Most comfortable sofas we have ever had in a holiday cottage! Sept 2011.
