Outdoor pursuits on offer include fishing, horse riding in Galloway Forest Park, cycling, golf and watersports. For the less active there are numerous historical sites and gardens to explore, making this a wonderful base to tour south west Scotland. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles.

1st comment: Very clean and comfortable cottage. Warm and cosy with everything needed for a family holiday. Very quiet surroundings, safe fully fenced garden (would be ideal for young children, which we don’t have any more!). Would definitely recommend this property. Oct 2011.
2nd comment: We had a marvellous holiday the local area and little beach were great. The weather was kind to us but there is lots to do nearby even if the weather had not been good. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the cottage. The welcome pack was much appreciated on our arrival. July 2011.
