There is a nature reserve at Inverpolly (10 miles), and boat trips depart for the splendid scenery of the Summer Isles. Shops 400 yards.

7th comment: It was a wonderful cottage steeped in history, and the views were amazing. There was all mod cons, but simpathetically installed. From the outside it looked small, but once inside there was loads of room. Location close to everything you could possibly need including the Argyle Pub with excellent food, and a small Tescos. Walks were good, and it was a geologists dream. It was a fantastic holiday. March 2011.
