Kerrowdown Mill has an enviable location overlooking Loch Ness and the stunning Urquhart Valley. A traditional 100-year-old stone mill conversion, each of its cottages has its own individual character. They lead into pretty coutyard gardens and other gardens with stunning views. This is an ideal honeymoon, summer and winter location, within 11/2 hours’ drive of two premier ski resorts, and is an artist’s paradise. Steeped in history and legend, Glen Urquhart has something special to offer in every season. Close by are the ruins of Urquhart Castle, on the shores of Loch Ness just 5 minutes’ drive from the Mill, passing through the quaint village of Drumnadrochit. Activities include walking, fishing, riding, sailing, boat rides and bird watching. The properties are truly a ‘get away from it all’ experience - a perfect base for exploring the rest of the Highlands, the west coast and Isle of Skye. Shops ½ mile.
