Customer Reviews of The Cottage, nr Newton Stewart - sleeps 6
1st comment: This is beautiful property which has been tastefully decorated and furnished. The fact it is there to be used by the owners some of the time is obvious - there is nothing that is just to meet a spec. When we visited there was dearth of sharp cooking/ bread knives which we are sure was a temporary oversight. Also if the weather is good make sure the Shed (and garden furniture) is accessible. June 2012.
2nd comment: The cottage is located in a quiet village with good local store, which is quite necessary as other facilities are a drive away. We stayed with my elderly parents and chose the cottage for its downstairs bedroom. The wash room is very small and a bit tricky for the old folks to manage, but the shower facility excellent. Upstairs accommodation really good and all beds very comfortable with top quality bedlinen. We stayed during the cold spell in May and the cottage felt cold when we arrived but soon warmed up. The sun room at the back is a great feature, and my parents really enjoyed sitting in there. May 2012.
