Customer Reviews of Tigh-a-Creagan, Uig, Sleeps 4
st comment: A really comfortable cottage with excellent facilities and in a good location. July 2011.
nd comment: The cottage is very pleasant and well equipped for those of us that like doing a lot of cooking whilst away! The view is superb and points such as a small DVD/CD library welcome. We would stay again. July 2011.
rd comment: Peace and quiet. June 2011.
th comment: A real gem. Stunning location and views. Very lucky with the weather. Bridget an excellent host-very friendly. Would recommend it. April 2011.
th comment: A superb cottage in a fantastic remote location. Very cosy. On wet and windy days it was great to stay in and sample the books from the excellent mini-library. Owner charming - popped round to see how we were doing. Locals very friendly. Walks at Quiraing, Storr and Fingal’s Tomb highly recommended - fine views on clear days and mysteriously dramatic when misty. You could spend the the entire week exploring the Trotternish peninsula with minimal driving. Try the fish from the shop at the end of Portree Harbour - top class! Take time to stop at the Sligachan Hotel for views of the Cuillin - even better if you cross the road and follow the track towards Loch Coruisk. After about 30 mins you start to see into some of the big corries - still a long way away but stunning. April 2011.
th comment: Well kept, very clean and homely cottage totally away from it all. Feb 2011.

th comment: The property was beautiful - light and airy with lovely views over the glen and Uig bay yet also cosy and warm. It was one of the best properties we have stayed in and a delight to return to each evening. The owner was extremely helpful and the information pack contained a lot of useful detail about the local area and attractions. Sept 2010.
th comment: Staying on Skye was a risk, since the weather is so unpredictable - however the cottage was completely dry and cosy, well equipped for what could have been a week indoors! In particular there were loads of games, books, music, DVDs etc. As it turned out the weather was good and we made good use of the many guide books to plan our outings. We didn’t meet the owner, unfortunately, but she was very helpful on the phone and there were some nice personal welcoming touches. Aug 2010.
th Comment The property had been fully refurbished to an excellent standard. All fittings and furnishings were of a very high quality and everything worked perfectly making it a real ’home from home’ and an excellent base for exploring (in our opinion) the most picturesque area of the island. our two children under five were very excited by it and the garden was very safe and secure for them to run around in. All in all the property far exceeded our expectations. June 2010.
