Customer Reviews of Bardristane Forge,Gatehouse of Fleet, sleeps 4

st comment: The cottage has a fantastic sun room (which we hardly left!) to take advantage of the stunning sea views, an inspired addition. We immediately felt comfortable and ’at home’ which is a difficult feat not always achieved by holiday cottages. We would definitely return. April 2012.

nd comment: We had a warm personal welcome to a well equipped comfortable cottage in a lovely situation. March 2012.

rd comment: We particularly enjoyed time in the sun room - great views and very warm even in winter. Owner met us to show us round the cottage which was really helpful and indeed left us some lovely home baked scones. Cottage equipped to a very high standard - we would certainly book again should we visit the area. The cottage was ideal for families - we have two children who adored the cottage. Also don’t bother bringing maps or guides - the cottage has more information than the tourist information office. The cottage is a great credit to the owners. Feb 2012.

th comment: Amazing location, and the modern conservatory gave the possibility of ’being outside’ when the weather was poor. Feb 2012.

th comment: Small from the outside but like a tardis inside with 2 reception rooms and a lovely large well equipped kitchen. From the moment we stepped through the door it felt very relaxing. Lots do do without travellling too far but the road to the property from the A75 is single track. Nov 2011.
