Well furnished and extremely comfortable, surrounded by woodland in the grounds of a country house, 1 mile outside the Moray town of Nairn and 14 miles from Inverness, the Highland capital. Nairn is a popular holiday destination for young and old alike, with clean beaches, good eating places and an assortment of activities including golf, fishing, horse riding, swimming and woodland walks. The Cairngorm National Park, Whisky Trail, Loch Ness and historical sites are all within a 1 hour drive through breathtaking scenery. Skye and the west coast are approximately 2 hours away. Town centre and pubs 2 miles.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room with patio door. Kitchen. 4 bedrooms: 2 double, one with en-suite shower room and toilet, 1 twin, 1 single. Bathroom with bath, shower cubicle and toilet. Separate toilet.

1st comment: The Brodie Castle & country fair is well worth a visit and also Inverewe Gardens. Excellent for children lots to do in the vicinity watching the squirrels in the garden, horses etc. Oct 2011.

3rd comment: The cottage is set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The red squirrels and birds visiting the numerous bird feeders in the garden were a joy to watch. The cottage was clean and well equipped, the owners helpful and the area was packed with interesting and beautiful places to visit. We will definitely be back. Aug 2011.

4th comment: The cottage was to a very good standard, very clean and well maintained throughout,we suggested to the owner that they had a sign put up on the main driveway to the cottage, as we had trouble locating it at first and it was off of a very busy main road? May 2011.

10th comment: It was much bigger than expected by the photographs, especially the lounge and kitchen. Also, having the heating still on timer and being told by the owner of this, was a huge plus, as it was cold that week we were there and we had a 15 month old baby. June 2010.

11th Comment Perfect setting and environment for a short family holiday. The whole setup of the bungalow was perfect for the family and the purposes of the long weekend break. Lovely rooms with perfect kitchen and bathroom (shower in main bathroom could have perhaps been better - not very powerful?). April 2010.
