Customer Reviews of Goodall Place, Haddington - Sleeps 2

st comment: The accommodation was very comfortable, very clean and well equipped. The nearby pub/restaurant was great, good choice of food and the dog was welcome in the bar. If the weather had been better it would have been perfect. June 2012.

nd comment: The property is very well presented and has everything required for a real "home from home", welcome tray, milk in fridge, toiletries and, a very nice touch, fresh flowers in the lounge. It is close to lovely riverside walks, the shops and the local people are very friendly. The pub behind the cottage does a two course meal for £10 between 5 and 6.30 p.m. June 2012.

rd comment: The property was cosy and well equipped, only a few minutes walk to the town centre. Plenty of walks in the area with the river more or less just outside the front door. Had a lovely meal at the riverside bistro and pub which is just over the road. The property is also only a 30 min drive to Edinburgh which is a lovely day out. We received a very warm welcome from the owner with tea, coffee & biscuits which was a nice gesture. May 2012.

th comment: We stayed in this property as a base for our trip to Scotland, We cannot recommend it highly enough. Everything was perfect from the location to the actual property itself. It was spotlessly clean and we were welcomed with tea and biscuits, we will definitely be visiting again. Sept 2011.

th comment: Excellent accommodation, everything you could wish for in a beautiful location. Aug 2011.

th comment: Very well equipped but a little hard to find. Close to the town centre where there are good restaurants to eat out. May 2011.

th comment: Goodall Place as a property was very comfortable, attractive and well equipped. The courtyard garden was sheltered from the wind and a lovely place to enjoy the sun/ have a cup of tea. The setting, right by the river, was very pretty. I went to Haddington’s farmers market, which I would recommend if your stay co incides with this. I have a dog, and enjoyed walking her along the river and also on the beach at Gullane which was 15 minutes drive away. Gullane also has an amazing German bakery/ coffee shop. North Berwick was 20 minutes drive and Edinburth 25 minutes. I have friends in the area and would definitely return to this property. May 2011.
