Set in a secluded, woodland location with views of rolling farmland, these two holiday properties offer a perfect hideaway for peace and tranquillity. With light spacious interiors, stylish furnishings and woodland walks from the door, these holiday homes provide every comfort. The 17th-century village of Culross, with quaint crow stepped gables and pantiled roofs, is only 3 miles. Dunfermline, 5 miles, Scotland’s ancient capital, is now a thriving city with hotels, restaurants and leisure facilities. Shops 1 mile, pubs 1½ miles.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. Utility room. 3 bedrooms: 1 double, 2 single, each with additional pull-out single. Bathroom with shower over bath and toilet. Separate toilet.

1st comment: Excellent. This is a chalet with style. The furnishings were good and comfortable. Everything on the ground floor was a great help when vacationing with an elderly relative. The area was very quiet and peaceful although we had visitor each morning, a squirrel. June 2012.

2nd comment: We really enjoyed our weekend break, the kitchen was equipped with everything you could need to make your meals, stay in and enjoy the peacefulness of the location. April 2012.

16th Comment We had a lovely holiday and it was a perfect choice for our dog as the garden was very big, plus there were lots of walks right on our doorstep. The accommodation itself was very good with stunning views! We would definitely recommend it for a relaxing break and would have no reservations recommending this property to friends and family! 17th Comment Oh we had such a relaxing time, when the fire gets going its so snug. The bedrooms were lovely and the whole chalet was very clean. We had nice walks and played in the huge garden. My little girl loved it and I felt safe about her running about as no roads are near the property. We will go back, probs in October. Feb 2009.

    Nearby Castle

    • Dunimarle Castle

      Remains of 16th century house or castle on the traditional site of the murder of Lady Macduff as related by Shakespeare. Has been fully renovated as a private residence in 2013 and is not open for view.

    • Dunfermline Palace

      It is One of the most venerable buildings in Scotland. The old abbey is still magnificent. The palace much ruined by fire and being unroofed in 1708.
