2nd comment: We had a brilliant time here. Lovely size house and very near to the pub. A few tips would be to stop off in a main town to buy your food etc, Take a first aid kit just in case and dont forget your welly’s! Dec 2011.

4th comment: A fantastic location with wonderful views over the harbour. The steam packet pub was dog and child friendly which makes a lovely change. The house was cosy and you couldnt want for anything in the kitchen, the only draw back- no shower- but we managed. Aug 2011.
5th comment: This was a lovely location, peaceful and very relaxing. Lots to see, visited Stranraer, Dumfries, Newton Stewart, Ninians cave, local beaches - lovely. Steampacket pub in the harbour had good beer and excellent food. Would go back for sure. July 2011.
6th comment: The cottage was in a superb location, perfectly placed with a stunning view of the harbour. It was extremely well kitted out with an assortment of brochures for the many interesting places to visit and numerous books, games, etc. for the possibility of bad weather. I was very impressed with the standard of food and service at the local pub/restaurant, The Steamboat Inn. The cottage was lovely although an electric shower would be an added bonus. I would absolutely recommend this property. March 2011.
