th comment: Perfect area to spend a week investigating the Scottish Borders. Caretaker so welcoming and a brilliant source of local information, house was of very high standard, facilities in house and village well above normal. Loved the homely touches in the house as we have some rather bland and empty. This property is a real home from home and the standard of decor and fittings is exceptionally good. Such a friendly village too. Made for a more than perfect holiday. Aug 2007.

th Comment This was the best of your cottages that we have experienced over the last few years of using your service. Aug 2007.

th Comment tStaffin Cottage is finished to a very good specification with plenty of care and consideration to detail, all the small things that we didn’t expect to see or have were there, which made the stay even more enjoyable, we just hope that the next property we’ve booked is as good. Feb 2007.

th Comment In 25 years of cottage holidays this was one of the best properties we have had. Very clean, superbly furnished, helpful caretaker and a super friendly village with lots to interest a visitor. July 2007.

th Comment The property was much better than we had imagined, it was clean and comfy. The caretaker was very friendly and we really appreciated her warm welcome. It was our first stay at a cottage and we have no regrets. April 2007.

th Comment The area is lovely if you’re looking for something secluded - village shop on the corner, butcher’s down the road do great haggis mid-week, the local pub (The Trap) and restaurants for all your immediate needs, and a large recreation ground just around the corner for some exercise (if you want any!). Locals are all very friendly and helpful. Aug 2006.
