This lovely converted dairy, adjoining owner’s home, offers a comfortable and cosy holiday stay just a short walk from the harbour. Lochinver is a small fishing village, ideally placed to explore the mountains, lochs and sandy bays, taking in the breathtaking scenery which this area has to offer. Enjoy boat trips, sea fishing, woodland walks or just relaxing. Fishing lessons available if required. Super base for touring the north and west coasts. Shop 1/2 mile, pub 300 yards.
Ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen. 1 twin bedroom with en-suite toilet. Shower room with toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 twin, 1 single, both with sloping ceilings.
Oil CH, elec, bed linen and towels inc. Video. Elec cooker. M/wave. Shared garden. Parking (3 cars). No smoking.

1st comment: The owner lives alongside the property, he is a friendly chap with great knowledge about the area. He loaned us equipment we had forgotten like binoculars. The mission is just around the corner and it was a perfect spot to eat. I particularly liked the fact that on our first night/day one of our party looked out of the window and spotted a deer walking past. Would rebook this property if ever I was travelling to Scotland again. May 2012.
2nd comment: The owner was very helpful in respect of local services and our walking group was impressed with Lochinver as a base for visiting the various attractions of Coigach & Assynt. The only downside was the beer in the Culag Hotel (we were all Real Ale enthusiasts!). March 2012.
