Customer Reviews of Woodside House, Applecross, sleeps 4

st comment: A cosy little cottage that is well maintained and run. The views across to the islands from the breakfast table are stunning. Oct 2011.

nd comment: A fantastic location, would advise visitors to read the visitors book on arrival to get an idea of everything there is locally to do. For those prepared to venture further afield, would definitely recommend the trip round Torridon and up to Gairloch.....an absolutely fantastic beach. Sept 2011.

rd comment: Ideal for a couple or a family of 4. Very well equipped indicating that it used by the owner, ie nothing lacking. (Bath towels not very big.) June 2011.

th comment: This cottage was a little gem. Stunning views but sadly the weather masked them. Loved the style and decor. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Lovely welcome basket of food on arrival, very much appreciated, thank you. Cosy and homely. Every need had been thought of. A high standard of fixtures and fittings. Lovely walks from the cottage. Well maintained cottage and garden. Loved it. Accommodation in Applecross we did feel to be quite expensive compared to other areas near by, possibly due to high demand after the fairly recent publicity from the Monty Hall’s TV series but having said that we were very happy with this lovely cottage. May 2011.

th comment: Very clean and well cared for. Welcome pack left. Plenty of cooking pots and pans. Cleaning products and bin bags available. Great for a place which is remote. Sept 2010.

th comment: Beautiful position with wonderful views from all windows. Very private and peaceful. Sept 2010.

th comment: I loved the location, it’s a beautiful area - plenty of scenic walks and cosy nights in. The building was rustic, simply decorated and had a really homely, feel to it. The log fire really created a great ambiance. It was the perfect size and site for our needs. April 2010.

th comment: Location of woodside house is perfect for sitting outside and drinking in the views. March 2010.

th comment: The location and the view were great. Aug 2009.

th comment: Excellent location and caretaker extremely helpful and informative but not intrusive - suggested places to eat e.g The Potting Shed. Good size, as described on web site, excellent location. Some of the furnishings were "old fashioned" but durable. Aug 2009.

th Comment It was a welcoming house with nicely proportioned rooms. Good to have two loos and showers for four people. Freezer very welcome, also clothes washing facilities, thought not needed. Lovely position with good views, especially from the garden. June 2009.
