Glencarron Lodge, Highlands - Sleeps 18+

Glencarron Lodge is a beautiful 11 bedroom original Victorian shooting lodge set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. Located on the 12,000 acre Glencarron Estate the lodge is ideal for large families or groups of friends looking to explore and enjoy the beauty of the Highlands.

With its elevated position Glencarron Lodge has wonderful views of the Scottish Highlands. Set on the large and historical Glencarron Estate, this original Victorian Shooting Lodge has been beautifully maintained over the past century with lovely period features now mixing with modern and contemporary.

The lodge's peaceful location and large garden guarantee guests enjoy a peaceful holiday, whilst its interior ensures comfort.

Inside the stunning Drawing Room has the feel of a period house, with large windows and a wonderful fireplace. The magnificent room is perfect for celebrations. Whilst adults enjoy the Drawing Room, children can retreat to their own living room with TV, where there are comfy sofas and board games.  

The large dining room has a long antique wood table, which comfortably seats up to 18. Catering can also be arranged if needed.

The kitchen is bright and modern with all the appliances you would expect in a well equipped house, including fridge, freezer, oven, Aga and washing machine. A good range of pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are also provided.

Glencarron Lodge has two games rooms, one with a snooker table and the other a table tennis table.

Bedrooms at the lodge include two doubles, one of which is en-suite, seven twins and two singles. These bedrooms are split over three floors and share five family bathrooms.

Glencarron Lodge is the ideal house for exploring the Scottish Highlands with excellent walking, fishing and cycling opportunities available right on its doorstep. The Estate itself also offers a number of outdoor pursuits, including photo, nature and deer stalking. For those seeking to bag a new Munro, there are four peaks on the Estate and eight more close by.

Within an easy drive of the lodge are several pretty villages and the West Coast beaches are also less than hour away.

With two games rooms offering a full size snooker table and table tennis, as well as a private lounge for children to enjoy, Glencarron Lodge is guaranteed to offer families a wonderful place to stay.

On the estate itself there are a range of outdoor pursuits to experience, including clay pigeon shooting, fishing, stalking and walking. Close by there are excellent cycling routes and golf courses. Sailing and boat trips can also be discovered in the local area.

 

Two cots are available for any infants.

Up to two dogs are welcome and are charged at £25 each.
