The spectacular surrounding area boasts many outdoor pursuits such as rock climbing, bird watching, hill-walking and cycling. Salmon and sea trout fishing can be arranged locally. It is an ideal base for day trips to Oban and ferries to the islands beyond, or for exploring the villages of the scenic West Coast.
