Sanda Island is a privately owned island of 400 acres (1 1/2 x 1 mile), situated near the Mull of Kintyre in Argyll. Strategically placed between Campbeltown, in Kintyre, and Red Bay, in Northern Ireland, it is roughly 13 miles from both. Although only two miles from the mainland it is supplied by boat from Campbeltown.
