Gamba is a stalwart of Glasgow’s dining experience and has a strong reputation as the best seafood restaurant in Glasgow with faultless service and a stylish but relaxing Mediterranean décor.
Typical dishes on the a la carte menu include; Gamba fish soup with crabmeat, stem ginger and prawn dumplings; tartare of tuna with baby capers, crème fraiche & chives; stuffed sea bas with roast peppers, mussels, basil & balsamic; grilled halibut on prawn, saffron & onion stew with asparagus & avruga caviar; and to finish lemon & rosemary tart with fresh raspberries & mascarpone sorbet or malt whisky parfait with prunes & Earl Grey syrup. Although specialising in seafood Gamba also serves premium beef from the Buccleuch Estate and offers vegetarian options.
