Chief Executive

Welcome to Glasgow City Mission's website.
We provide a range of services which are designed to improve the everyday lives of homeless people in the city centre, and children and families in Govan.
Our charity was founded in 1826 and was the very first City Mission. Today there are over 60 City Missions located all around the world.
You can watch a film on our work by clicking the link to your right. It is six minutes long and was made at no cost to ourselves by MNE Productions.
If you would wish to discuss any aspect of the work of Glasgow City Mission, please call me on 0141 445 8608 or e-mail: andrew@glasgowcitymission.com

Crossline Scotland Partnerhsip
We are delighted to introduce and officially launch our partnership with Crossline Scotland. Crossline Scotland offers a confidential careline and prayer support for men and women of all ages – whatever their concern.
Crossline Scotland has been established for over 15 years and their national helpline now serves people throughout Scotland. All staff are Christian and are fully trained counselors. We feel that in having this kind of out of office hours pastoral support, this can only benefit the people who use the services of Glasgow City Mission by offering additional assistance and care.
The service is available 10am to 4pm and 7pm to midnight on Monday to Friday, and all calls made by clients are charged at a local rate.
Crossline Scotland’s careline is 0845 658 0045
Volunteers Required
We are looking for a volunteer Van Driver to assist with pick-ups of food from local businesses on a Monday between 3pm and 6.30pm. If you have a clean driving license and would be able to spare a few hours to help in this, please call Susan Robertson on 0141 445 8608. We will also be looking for volunteers in the lead up to the Chrismas period. If you have some spare time over this busy period, please telephone Susan Robertson on 0141 445 8608.
