Welcome to the NSD website
National Services Division (NSD) has responsibility for ensuring the provision of both national screening programmes and specialist services on behalf of NHSScotland. We also fund a number of specialised services in England on behalf of NHS Boards.
Our screening programmes cover various cancers, as well as pregnancy and newborn screening, while the specialist services are invariably for the diagnosis and/or treatment of rare conditions as diverse as cystic fibrosis, congenital heart diseases and decompression illness.
