Our comfortable Bed and Breakfast is in a quiet rural location on the
outskirts of Muir of Ord, a village on the Black Isle close to Inverness.
Visitors to our Bed & Breakfast are ideally placed for touring the Scottish
Highlands, including Inverness and Loch Ness. Daytrips to the West coast and the
Isle of Skye are also possible.
The Black Isle immediately to the NE of Inverness offers many visitor
attractions, including the dolphins of the Moray Firth.
Inverness, the Highland capital, is only a 20-minute car journey away and
has many shops, restaurants and visitor attractions, including specialist whisky
shops and kilt makers. The River Ness connecting Loch Ness with the sea has many
lovely tree-lined walks.
Loch Ness, its famous occupant ‘Nessie’, Urquhart Castle and the Caledonian
Canal are again only a short car journey from Home Farm Bed and Breakfast. Many
of our guests enjoy a relaxing motor cruise along the Loch.
Our quality B & B accommodation consists of 3 Guest bedrooms with en-suite
or private facilities. All have colour TV and hospitality tray and central
heating. Rooms have views over our large well-established garden or to the
nearby hills. A cosy lounge and garden room are available for guests use.
On arrival guests are welcomed with refreshments and home baking. Full Scottish
breakfast is served in the dining room and evening meals are available by
arrangement. Relax in a tranquil setting where you can be assured of a warm and
friendly welcome.
