Scottish PEN is part of International PEN, a dynamic worldwide association of writers pledged to protect freedom of expression and campaign on behalf of persecuted writers everywhere. Membership of PEN is open to all qualified published or performed writers, editors, journalists or academics who subscribe to its aims, without regard to nationality, language, race or religion.
