Description : Pronounced 'Eddra-dower' and named after a local burn, Edradour was founded in 1825 by a group of local farmers, and is Scotland's smallest distillery ? and one of the most picturesque. It has remained virtually unchanged since Victorian times, and consists of solid white-washed buildings with grey-slate roofs. The distillery is owned by Campbell Distillers Ltd. Water comes from soft spring water on Moulin Moor, and the Edradour 10-Year-Old Single Malt has a light, nutty flavour. A dram of whisky is offered during an audio-visual show in the vistor centre in the malt barn.
