The friendly staff will assist the guest with great hospitality and will take care of the laundry and other comforts. Neat and clean bedding and towels are provided in all rooms with tea and coffee. The place is also easily accessible from all main locations.

We stayed in 4 bed dorm, lovely room, great building. Staff was very friendly. In a really nice, relaxed part of Edinburgh right next to the Meadows park. Nice if you want to escape the tourist traps but still be close to the city. Some great little cafes round about if you are fed up with the Starbucks on the Royal Mile! Has a nice little garden too.

I stayed in Eglinton Youth hostel; it is located within easy walking distance from Haymarket Railway Station and a short bus ride from Princes Street. It is in an elegant terrace with huge doors and windows, very smart inside and the staff are very friendly. The beds are soft and are very comfortable

I and my boyfriend stayed at this hostel for two nights at the start of the month and it was fabulous. The location was brilliant as it is a quiet road but only a 5 minute walk to the end of Princes Street and 2 minutes to Haymarket Station. We got a great price booking through late rooms... This hostel is a perfect base for all backpackers and international travelers wishing to explore Scotland's capital.
