Hudson Hotel (Boutique 3/4 Star Edinburgh Hotel)
Very central location, funky and fun. Lacks some of the finesse of other boutiques in the city but design is cool, bar downstairs well stocked. Some of the rooms a little tight and the investment has been mean in places (small TVs for example) but the beds are comfortable! Executive rooms facing the front are the best bet.

Getting there. Airlink 100 operates express bus services to the city centre. Buses run every 10 minutes and depart from the bus station next to the terminal. An open-return pass costs 5 GBP. The N22 night bus runs between midnight and 4 a.m. Taxis wait at a rank next to the terminal, and cost approximately 10 GBP-20 GBP to the city centre, depending on traffic and time of day. Waverley, Edinburgh's main railway station, can be reached by bus or taxi. Regular trains leave Waverley for Glasgow and most major destinations throughout Scotland and England. Getting around. The Hudson Hotel is near to Princes Street in central Edinburgh. Edinburgh city and the Lothian region are served by a good bus network. Pass Edinburgh Zoo and Murrayfield Hotel into Haymarket.
Follow signs for city centre onto West Maitland Street.
At West End traffic signals, continue onto Princes Street.
At traffic signals, bear left onto South Charlotte Street.
