Scotland Sings

Scotland Sings takes place throughout the year, giving visitors the chance to sing in public through a series of events around the country.

Angus Farmers' Market

The stall holders from the Angus Farmers' Market will be looking out their tartan bonnets to take part in the Tartan Week festivities. This is a chance to celebrate Scottish people, heritage and culture and of course to sample all the market brings with first class local produce.

Tour Auchentoshan Distillery

Explore a full range of whiskies and exclusive ale. Open seven days a week. Holidays: 25th and 26th of December and the 1st and 2nd of January.

Arthur's Secrets

A moderate graded walk, led by Historic Scotland Rangers Service, to explore the geology, natural history, archaeology and cultural history of Holyrood Park. Find out about the rare wildlife that makes the park so special and learn more about Arthur’s Seat’s turbulent past, created by fire and ice!

Dumfries and Galloway Wildlife Festival

Held in various venues across Dumfries, the event will have walks and talks, exhibitions and demonstrations, excursions, open-days, films and much, much more, which will make it an event for the whole family.

Melrose Rugby Club

Annual sevens rugby tournament featuring 24 teams from across the world, in which New Zealand’s Bay of Plenty, Singapore, Hong Kong Scottish and London Scottish join the fray. Melrose is the home of the rugby Sevens. It is the perfect fun day out for families and rugby fans alike.

Melrose 7s

Arguably the most famous sevens rugby tournament in the world, the Melrose 7s, is staged every April at the ground where the game originated. Melrose Rugby Football Club will host its 130th tournament this year.

Glen Farg

A rich fare comprising of Scottish,  Irish and contemporary music and  children's entertainment.

Walkislay

Discover Islay on foot in the company of other walkers in this exciting event. A nominal fee will be charged for each walk, and suitable footwear and clothing is strongly recommended. The walking trails are graded as  moderate, challenging and strenuous for the benefit of walkers of all skill sets.
