The Insider Festival, Aviemore

The Insider Festival, Aviemore will be back in 2015 .

True to its name the Insider Festival is all about small, idiosyncratically-named stages tucked away in the woods of the Inshriach Estate. A small crowd and a high number of artists, makes this event a celebration of music, food and performance. A perfect choice for those who are uncomfortable with festival crowds.

Guildtown Bluegrass Music Festival

A bi annual music festival held in a casual and friendly atmosphere featuring top bands from the USA, Europe. Next event will be held in the year 2015

Kilmarnock Fair Festival

Now into the fourth year this music festival is featuring a range of events like the Scottish music scene stalwarts acoustic acts, stand-up comedy and Q&A sessions with performers.

Bute Linedance Festival

The 22nd annual line dance festival on Bute, offers a musical feats to the spectators who can enjoy country, blues, Irish and Latin tunes from bands like Calico and Magill. The weekend is open to all dancers, no matter what level of expertise.

Aberdeen Jazz Festival

Aberdeen Jazz festival which is being held from 12th to 17th February and 12th to 17th March will feature over 30 bands that will perform at free and ticketed events across the city. Topping the bill are Ruby Turner, the soul sensation voice of Jools Holland’s Rhythm and Blues Orchestra; Mud Morganfield, eldest son of legendary bluesman, Muddy Waters; and the powerhouse saxophonist, Courtney Pine.

Yn Chruinnaght Interceltic Festival

Yn Chruinnaght literally means 'the gathering' and is a celebration of Manx culture and the relationship between the Isle of Man and the other five Celtic countries (Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Cornwall and Brittany).

Isle of Mull Music Festival
