Arbroath Seafest is an annual festival of the sea held along Arbroath’s seafront and centring around the town’s traditional harbour and new marina. The 18th annual Arbroath Seafest will attract Foodies who will have a lot to choose from including the famous world-famous Arbroath Smokies as well as the traditional haddock.
Set up 1997, Sea Fest is a popular celebration of Arbroath’s marvellous maritime heritage, attracting over 30,000 visitors over its two-day duration in August each year. The main attraction of the show will undoubtedly be the Arbroath Smokie – haddock smoked over hardwood apart from a range of trout specialities, suckling pig, venison and ostrich meat, available from the Smokie Trail, comprising 70-odd stalls along the harbour.
