New music festival in Pitlochry in various venues featuring 30 Indie and Americana style bands.
The Perthshire town of Pitlochry is tuning-up for an enterprising new music festival aimed at visitors and locals alike.
“March Into Pitlochry” puts the accent on more than 30 Indie and Americana artists including Idlewild front man Roddy Woomble, award winning Colonel Mustard and the Dijon Five, 80s hitmaker Kevin McDermott, The Chaplins, The New Madrids and Hunter and The Bear.
The weekend event on March 11 and 12 is centred on the 350-capacity Pitlochry Town Hall, with other venues including McKays Hotel, the Old Mill Inn and Fishers Hotel.
