St Monans Sea Queen Day is a traditional village festival to celebrate the fishing heritage of the local area where a girl from the St Monans community is nominated as the Sea Queen.

The oldest Gala Day in the East Neuk of Fife and harks back to the fishing tradition of Scottish coastal villages. A fun-filled family day, the highlight is the arrival of the Sea Queen Party onboard a restored antique sail-boat, while dockside there are stalls, a mini fairground and live music.
